There are no "recalls" or "Service Bulletins" for the tires. Acura doesn't want to advertise that they put crappy tires on the TL.
Not everyone has a problem with the original EL-42's. Don't be influenced by what you read, but check your tires out very carefully.
The major problem is flatspotting, where you drive off in the morning and they vibrate and thump for 4-5 miles, depending on the temperature.
Some say they have a vibration at 70mph, but that may or may not be the tires.
Others report that the newer version of the EL-42's are as bad or worse, and others report they cured the problem.
What I am getting at is don't create a problem for yourself. If your tires don't bother you (remember they are NOT Michelin Pilots) then leave them alone and enjoy the car. If they are, contact your dealer about getting you the new version of the EL-42s, which will have a date code of 0604 or later and a tire code of TU2.
