I plan on doing this mod in the future as soon as I can get my hands on a TL-S exhaust system to replace my stock TL system... but i have an question for all the people that did the mod... what looks better (in your opinion) the TL-S bumper or TL bumper with A-spec lip?

Me personally, I like the stock bumper with the TL-S Aspec lip on the rear

how does the type s fit he 07-08 bumper.. i hear you only have to cut out on the exhaust piece.

You need the lip if you have the rest of the A-spec kit...

If you don't plan to get the kit, just get an 07 TL-S bumper... even better if you can get it used.

hey guys.. really quick question.. i thought i was following you guys on the same page until I read this above.

So if I do not have a Aspec kit currently for my 06 TL, then I have to purchase the whole bumper and not just the lip?

I was looking closely at fulani's pics and it seems he has the stock (non Aspec) bumper and just added the lip after trimming the old one. But I could be wrong. It is pretty late now and feeling out of it lol.

Just the rear lip.

You can either 1) buy a normal Type-S rear bumper and swap it with your current bumper or 2) buy an 07-08 type-s rear lip and modify your 06 rear bumper to install it.
