My '02 TL-P vs. a yuppie in a new Saab 9-3 2.0T
It was a good race...I was chillin' in the slow lane for a while (doing the speed limit) while he rode my ass for about half a mile...finally got next to me at a stop light and looked over...I didn't really feel like it but I haven't really romped on my TL since I bought it a month ago...so I said f it. TCS off, manumatic to first...I got a perfect launch at the green, got him by half a car through first, he caught up to my nose in second, I finally hit third and left him by a few cars. I let off at around 70 and I was surprised by the older gentleman's ricer flyby.
I thought that I would have been toast or at least it been a closer race...I've noticed third is the "killer" gear in every Honda I've owned. Won me many a stoplight/dragstrip battle in my time.![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
PS I do not advocate nor endorse street racing. There are many sparsely traveled roads in even less sparsely populated areas of Arizona.

Saab is an upscale brand and is priced accordingly. While they do have their following, I would rather have just about any other upscale brand before even considering a Saab.
Good kill.
Good kill.
