Going to murder out my black TL with the dark smoked tail lights. I had the stock red tails then put on the tl-s tails and now looking for a change.

Im also switching the side marker lights. There are two options I can go with. Both are smoked but when lit up at night, one option is yellow in the front, red in the back side markers or white led sidemarkers.

What do you think would look better on a black tl when lit up in your opinion? The stock leds seem to match the tails and turn signals and are probably a tad bit safer but the white ones seem edgy and could possibly look alot cooler. Wondering if the white one would clash with the red from the tails.

I say to go with the yellow in front and red in back, the colors contrasted with black would pop at night! The lights look good, you should post pics after you get them!

blacking out my tails and also my grill up in front so everything other than my headlights should be black!! can't wait!!

i have the colored side markers with the clear "ghost tails". they'll look sick and you won't get harassed for having white led's. I bought them from the same supplier..the side markers are gonna be a little snug fit.

thanks!! your car looks clean. never thought of the clear tails with the black trim before. what made you think of going with them over the smoked tails to black out everything?

does anybody have any pics with a black TL with the smoked dark tails on it not just a tape job? I've been trying to search with no avail. I guess it's not really a common look

i guess you have the white led's on your tl then italiano? does the white not clash with the red from the tails at night or the the yellow from the headlights?

i guess thats the only concern i have with getting them but on the other hand i would assume it would make the car stand out to other people in a good way so those things stick out

I'd go with stock color, the white would look stupid on the sides. Post up if you go with the second link, I kinda like those. I don't wanna go blacked out but I think everything smoked would look good on a tinted car.

NJ, what did you mean by a snug fit? I just ordered the same clear/black trim tail lights with smoked side markers too, they look sweet on your car! Also got clear diffuser/halo headlight replacements on the way. Mine TL is silver, but currently murdered out with plasti-dip.

I just installed the same white side markers earlier today. They were super snug, and a little bit of a pain to put in but not too bad. I have the stock tails and head lights and think the white looks fine with them.

Kind of stick out like a sore thumb. Sides of cars should be red, orange, or amber. Anything else just looks off. Then again, opinions vary.

Looks awful...but then again, so does "murdering out" in general. Cars look MUCH better with contrast. Color matched wheels, a black car with blacked out tails/lights/wheels/everything, etc. all look stupid, and unoriginal.
