Mugen Rain Deflectors for 3G TL?

Hey Everyone,

My friend has a newer Si and he threw some Mugen rain guards on. Bottom line is they look awesome. I haven't seen an application for the third gen TL, but I was wondering if since they're fitted for an '03-'07 Accord if they'd fit the TL?

Also, other than Weather Tech are there any other good manufacturers?

Acura makes them. The part number is 08R04-SEP-201.

^those are OEM visors.

there are no mugen parts for this car because this car was never sold in japan, hence no JDM parts. There are mugen parts for the accord, tsx, civic, etc because those have equivalents in japan

Eh, I think I'll just go with the dark tint WeatherTech deflectors. Those O.E. ones stick out way too far. Thanks for the feedback guys.

I'm new to the forum, are there any trusted websites or vendors on here to still get rain deflectors for a 2005 Acura TL 3G? I'm really hoping for OEM. Thanks in advance.
also was wondering what the year range the OEM ones cover

Did you click on the first link in post #2?
Or google search on the part # provided in the first sentence of post #2.

Refer to the 'Vehicle Fitment' on the first link.

The oem ones do stick out far, but the profile from the side is by far the best

Thanks for the response, I tried the first link and it says they do not fit the 2005 Tl 3G. Does anyone by chance know the OEM part for the 2005 Tl rain deflector set? I've only been able to find them individually. Even if I find a website saying they fit, I still would like to know for absolute sure they will. Thanks for the trouble

And I really have been looking for these things for awhile. I have found the moonroof deflector for like 70 bucks, just wasn't too sure how I would feel about the look of it. Even though getting rid of the wind howl would be nice in warm weather

Yes, that's what the link states 2006 base; 2007-2008 base & Types-S; however, these cars share the same part numbers for the front & rear door panels as your 2005 and therefore meets the test.

My best guess it that it is very likely they were not available, at the dealer, until the 2006 model year at the earliest.

Check the Vehicle Fitments on the two links below:

67510-SEP-A90ZZ - Panel, R Rear Door (DOT) 2004-2008 Acura TL | Delray Acura Parts (acuraoemparts.com)

There's a company called well visors that sell for around $100 for a set on ebay that look fairly good.

I called my local Acura dealer, and they confirmed the part for a 2005 TL window rain deflector set is the 08R04SEP201 . They didn't give me the year range they cover though. Also the part for the 2005 moonroof rain deflector is 08R01SEP200. There are dashes in there somewhere for both. Thanks for the input from you guys, it helped alot. Now its just finding them lower than the quoted 260$ . I found the window set on ebay for right under 200, but they say it may not be in stock

Thanks zeta for the detailed post, that confirmed that everyone on here was correct, and you can't always trust a website whole heartedly. Which I usually do.

I dunno, I got the OEM visors from Acura of St. Louis shipped to my home in Springfield, MO for a total of $171.11. Why you're being quoted $260 I'm not sure..I'd try the Acura estore, they're listed at $198.53
