people claim the TB bypass helps with heatsoak, wich is why you lose power. as i literally did the bypass this morning. the tb bypass is just going to make ure throttle body cooler, but ure engine will most likely still be an oven.i forget wich thread i used for instructions, but as im on my phone i cant link it to u, im sure u could find it though.

LOL, welcome to the world of the internal combustion engine. An ICE is a very inefficient machine, most of the energy is wasted in heat under the hood and out the exhaust; there's really not much you can do about it. Removing the plastic or the hood will only net you minute gains. Adding a turbo charger makes use of some of that wasted energy and is the best way to increase efficiency and performance. If you're worried about the heat, don't be, the car and the components were engineered for it.

^ Word. Most engines are about 25-30% efficient. So 70-75% of the fuel burned is converted to heat. Pretty depressing really.

The cause is that they are going 59 mph. You might be able to fly by someone that is only going 50 mph.

The UCM should highly be considered by those in very hot climates. Too much heat can actually result in becoming a big expensive headache..

Heres an example of what happened to me:

The UCM is just plain ugly. It makes a beautiful car look cheap and ugly. If I were you I wouldnt worry about it.

There's a thread on here of a guy who bought hood vents from a BMW and installed them onto his hood.
Was functional and looks a lot better than the UCM.

both hoses under the tb go away. when youre done you should have 2 extra hoses from that spot. be ready for coolant to spill out, i got that shit in my mouth and it was horrible. save everything so you can change it back for the winter, idk how cold it gets near you.

that could be a part of the problem but its more than likely an automatic transmission in a 3000+ lb car with little torque. Strange as it sounds it could also be the battery.
