There are some sick people out there, just came from being out of town for 48 hours -if that...Walk up to my car, and the passenger door has a huge MSX3 keyed into it


I've only lived in NoVA for like 7-8 months, Its nice around here.. WTF!!!

I have a great bodyshop, im not that concerned, I think I can have it done in an afternoon. I will find out in the morning, but anyone *up right now have an idea what it costs for a door to get repainted? Passenger side 04/NBP

I honestly think these pieces of s&%t just dont like people with nice cars.. mine is 8% all around, I like to think very clean all black look... I have all spec except wheels, just plain OEM, maybe they just liked it and were pissed they can't have it

I'm glad it was only one door and not the entire car, just one door I can handle. Cop said "thinks it was probably some young little s&*Ts with nothing else better to do"

Car was parked way in the back, last spot backed in up against a wall, of an semi underground (1 level exposed to street) parking garage

1. Mara (or MS13) is the largest gang in the US, as well as central am... I've actually studied gangs in college and from what I've learned about this one, I can tell you PLatano^ is right - it was probably some kids, who are most likely not even associated with Salvadoran gang.

2. whoever did it did so b/c they noticed your car was parked in the furthermost corner and wanted to fuck with you.

3. I don't know how big you're talking (post a pic of possible) but for scratches on the side of my car (on the left side of the rear underbody spoiler to be exact) from another car scraping it while attempting to park, it was $250...

I would say the letters are approx 5-6 inches tall.. and overall length with space takes up a 6X10 inch area center of the door.. nothing small, you could read it from like 25 feet away

I swear, I have not posted the issues with my TL on these forums, but I am telling you this car has run into the WORST luck ever ever ever ever...


here we go...

1. (apprx 6 months old) Acura somehow chips paint all over trunk, back ground effects, driver door.. all of those repainted

2. (1.5 years)Someone pulled out of a spot next to me making a right, got to close to my car and destroyed back passenger side, new bumper, and right corner panel needed work, ground effects... (wasnt eve there, saw in the AM)

3. (3 months ago)Someone came fishtails and comes across 3 lanes of traffic and smashes into center lane rail, and I couldn't stop in time, 4k damage to the front passenger side.. (got all $ back other guys insurance paid everything) New hood front headlight, right corner panel had work, new grill, front ground effects and some other crap....

Now this... MSX3 shit

I am ready to just go over to Acura and get and 07 all black TL-S
How much is mine worth 04' 28k miles, I pay $500 a month got 2.5 years left.. buying it

I'm guessing ur lookin @ $250+ (just comparing ur key with my scratch which was only about 5 inches long) but it depends where in Va. ur located... NYC will overcharge just bc it's NYC... sucks for us TL owners in that have to deal with ridiculous prices for everything. The TL-S sounds like a good idea though.

sorry about your car...where exactly in NoVA did this happen?...I live in NoVA and both me and my brother have a TL...and i'd like to avoid that area!

Actually, it all boils down to the fact that their are some real shits among us in the world. Envy is one thing but a total lack of moral values and principles is the problem.

I think many of us can agree that we have been envious as hell over someone else's good fortune.. But we didn't go out and deface something of theirs just for that fact.. If you did you have issues (see above)..

You're either a contributing/decent member of society or you're not, it's a choice.

Sorry about your car. Many many moons ago when I purchased my first car it was keyed from wheel to wheel on one side at my high school. Though I couldn't prove it we all knew who it was, envy was involved yet the individual never amounted to anything in life. Maybe it was karma.

Yes!!!! I couldn't agree more, some people have absolutely no respect for other peoples property, lack all rational/moral reasoning, and are a complete waste, they are nothing more then a burden to society as a whole, and should be kept behind bars.


I actually just got back from dropping off my car at the body shop, they know me so well out there, they felt really bad and said they would have it fixed by tomorrow.

$200 even - Not even putting it through insurance

Juts in case anyone needs, the body shop I use is out in Chantilly "D&V AutoBody"
I will tell you this, if you have an Acura in the NoVA area, and you need repair work, go to them!! THEY ARE AMAZING!!!
