Moving on (down)...

Welp, turns out I for sure wont be able to bring my car to Detroit. It would have been fine here btw. Many many TL's and foreign cars here lol

Anyways. I'm picking up an 01 civic with a manual trans. Should do the trick and be a little fun to drive. TL is staying with my parents, but I doubt it will last 4 years just sitting/being driven very little.. we'll see.

So I'll be going to test drive the civic tomorrow. We'll see what happens there. Definitely a BIG step down... no heated seats!!! Or navi..or back up cam...or xenons that could turn night to day.. or a bad ass sound system.. or CD player lol. Oh well.

thanks everyone for your help.

I'm not sure a Civic is a great pick for Detroit as Honda cars are high theft targets:

It indicates a 1995 Civic in the top 10, but I would assume other years may be up there as well.

Ya i"m not terribly worried, I'll get a good club or something of the like. My lot is gated and we have some nice cars in my apartment lot (i.e. new A8L, Bentley, BMW, Merc, etc). If I get really paranoid, I'll just install a kill switch (cut power to the spark plugs) or just pull the spark plug fuse before I leave the car overnight. lol.
