I just got my 04 Acura TL a few days ago and finally had the chance to really drive it last night. I realized that the passenger side mirror does not tilt down when I put it in reverse but the driver side does. Is there somethign wrong, or a setting that needs to be changed?

I'm almost certin that they both worked when I test drove the TL.

Welcome and congrats!

All you have to do is set the side-view mirror selector switch to either "L" or "R", and the selected mirror will tilt down when you reverse.

 

Do they both not tilt at the same time? Or is it either L or R ?

My cousin has a 03 TL and im almost certin both his tilt in reverse..

You have to choose between one or the other.

Or, he could get the KPT module.

 

What's the KPT module?

 

KPT=KP Technologies. They have a module that enables both mirrors to tilt down when the car is in reverse.
