Modding Your TL ...

My TL is a lease ... the only dilemma is I have 2 and half years left ... Can Acura tell whether I had modded the car performance wise at the end of the lease when I trade it in like if I had an intake / headers / exhaust? And would you put a RJ kit on a lease? Opinions are appreciated

Opinion? Dont mod a leased car.

Whatever you do, Id be damn sure I could get it back to stock.

Ok so engine mods are out of the question ... Acura said they dont care about aftermarket wheels or the RJ kit since its bolt on ... See the thing is someone performed a hit and run on my car and its 100 worth of damage, then if I put the Aspec kit on its another 850-100, so itll be the same as a painted RJ kit regardless ... so do I go with fixing the car and Aspec or RJ? My mom will fix the car at the end of the lease so I wont have to pay she just doesnt want to now btw the damage is on the front and rear bumpers so replacing them with the RJ would solve this

Just enjoy your car the way you want it but then put it back to stock when the lease is due.

Yea Lembowski ... In NJ its not necessary to have insurance ... but when you have it and you file 2 seperate hit and run accidents in one weekend your insurance goes up, especially when you have a high deducable to meet so it comes out to what the damage is worth anyways ... you're just a self educated genius arent you? Apparently you have the answers to everything when logic is erased you moron

you two guys!

if it were out of my pocket, or insurance, and i needed to have my front and rear bumpers be replaced, i'd be investing into a RonJon kit.

honestly, i dont even think a dealer would care if you turned the car in with the kit on. its nicer than stock and the a-spec kit.

Listen to me you hillbilly, Im 19 years and Ive already owned two cars Volvo S60R and an Acura TL, now go run the prices for the S60R and do the math for a 19 year old kid. Im far from cheap and Ill take my odds that Im richer than you ever will be. Btw the next car is an NSX so Ill enjoy that wreck also.

Let's get back on topic and quit worrying who is going to pay. That wasn't the original question, so if you don't have anything to say about what was asked please don't post.

You're right, thats why I pay the lease and my parents pay insurance and trust me I work quite hard in and out of school to deserve it.

im younger than him and I have a TL...i'm paying almost 400/m for it. Its pretty easy to make money when you dont have to pay for rent, insurance, or a kid from a chick you knocked up.

get over it. I hate the whole "if you have a nice car and you're younger than me, you have no right to say anything, cuz ur spoiled"

Im sorry if this aggrivates you Ron but on a personal note I think I should alleviate any ambiguity as to who actually pays for the car, and that would be without any form of help from my parents and that I work just as hard as anyone else to pay off their payments as well as juggling school.

As for the 'kid from a chick you knocked up' , those are factors of that life - you can't get everything you want, yes if you're paying for a child and rent and your wife youre not going to get that Continental GT you drool over but is it wrong to enjoy what you have now as the opportunities and I will be told that my car is wrecked and any worse than anyone elses especially with a nasty tone.

Just answer his freakin question and move on. If you have something negative you'd like to say, take the risk, just remember you only get one warning from us in 3G then you're out...
