I bought a 2008 TL with 115k about a week ago. I noticed that the downshifting isn't very smooth and decided to swap the pressure switches. I think this was masked when I checked the car out because of the out of round rotors. At this very moment I have the car up on jack stands and I cannot find the oil pressure switches. I believe they are missing entirely. Here are pics of what I'm seeing when looking from wheel well.

Could the car be driven without the pressure switches?

 

That or I'm inept and simply cannot find it.

Turns out im just inept. I finally found it.

 

LCA bushing is shot.
