Missing door panels on delivery!

I took delivery of my TL last week and it wasn't until recently that I noticed the small plastic panel behind the door opening lever was missing on the front/rear passenger doors! No big deal and the parts will be here tomorrow but it made me paranoid about other missing parts. Anyone else find anything inconspicuous missing?

Yauser,

The piece in my driver side was missing, too in the day one, then I found it under my driver seat.

When you are sitting in your 2004TL, navi or non-navi

and you grab the handle to open the door, front or back

and you don't see a semi-rectangular black plastic piece ahead of your fingers towards the outside of the car

That's it.

Similar thing with my TL

The plastic trim pieces (behind the door release lever) on my TL were there when I took delivery. However, on the passenger side they both popped out shortly thereafter. I watched the one on the front passenger door land on the front passenger seat when a friend closed the door. The one on the back passenger door popped off and eventually turned up in my daughter's back pack. I had the service department check into this when I had my TL in for service and they ended up just ordering me a couple of new trim plates (which I just picked up today). Since I was able to recover both of the original pieces, I reinstalled them after bending the plastic tab that holds the things in place out a bit (you'll know what I'm talking about if you look at one of these things removed).

If my trim pieces were missing at the time of deliver, I'd check the floor under the seats.

This has been a problem since day one, glad to see they modified the molds to make them stay better, guess they will save that for 2005
