I change my own oil. I do it when the mileage is where I think it should be done - or when I need an excuse to get away from the wife and kids (j/k). I think it is usually around 30% when I do it.

Each time I have reset the Mid as per the manual. As I am resetting it, it always shows the Service A1 message as I am reseting. Does it ever show Service B (or B1 whatever the next one is) message? Or have I just not hit that yet - I only have 13k miles on it.

I guess I am asking will one day it have two messages there as I reset it?

You haven't gotten there yet.
I have over 15k on mine and I haven't gotten a B message yet either. I'm pretty sure it's based on total mileage on the car.
As far as getting two messages, I'm not sure. Maybe someone else knows. I don't have my manual with me or I'd take a peek.

 

I just changed my oil for the A1 service and when I reset the MID, it just reset "OIL LIFE 100%". I didn't see any other messages that popped up.

 

As I reset it it popped up - otherwise, yes, it says 100% after I have reset it.
