Michelin and the USGP
I'm not sure which tread this should go in, so let's just start it here.
Any of you that follows Formula 1 racing has heard about Michelin pulling 14 cars off the grid last Sunday because they said they couldn’t build a tire strong enough to around a high-speed turn, which sounds unbelievable as they have been racing F1 at Indianapolis for several years. The race went on with only 6 cars starting. Most of the fans left in disgust long before the race ended. Formula 1 racing in the US may never recover from their stupid act.
My question is, does this change your option about Michelin and buying their tires? Is this a cause for a boycott?

Definitely the wrong place.
Pulling out of a race because they are concerned for driver's safety? Cause for patronage, not boycott.
