Memory - Battery Disconnect
Hey.
So last night I disconnect both positive and negative connections to the battery to install my fog lights on my '04 TL.
Upon reconnecting the terminal connectors, I had "assumed" that I would have to reset just about everything including the radio, etc.
When starting the car, the NAV screen displayed a message something like "downloading software". I thought that was cool and there were a few other messages around that also.
Here is what I had to reset:
- MID Settings
- Seat Settings (tied to MID)
- Enter CODE for radio
- XM Radio Presets
Surprisingly, everything else with the radio and HVAC controls remained unlike every other car I've owned. Oh yeah, I'm going to have to modify my NAV startup screen as that was lost.
Just thought I'd share this with everyone.
