Matte Black TL On ebay

I hate ads that say "My loss is your gain" and "No expense spared". They are almost as bad as "won't last long at this price".
Do you really want to buy a car from some jackass who goes through the effort to make sure that 69 is displayed on the temperature settings.......
Not to mention, that paint looks awful. Looks like a car done in primer.

Matt paint is one of those things that I think looks kind of cool, but I would never do on a car that would actually get used.
Maybe on a '32 Ford. Possibly on an Italian exotic. On a Japanese sedan....nope.

Im not a fan of matte black especially on a TL.. like someone else said it looks like primer and its definitely not worth 20k but I live in Chicago so I just sent him a message on ebay asking if I could go and look at it so we'll see what he says
Here, we all know what "murdered out" means, but is that really a selling point to the rest of America? I suppose only an "enthusiast" would want a matte black car, but why would you want to alienate a bunch of people who look at it and think it's kind of cool?
BTW: I also think it is just kind of cool. Maybe if I had two TLs, one of them would be murdered out matte black.
Never been a fan of the matte black look...especially now that I'm seeing it on a WHOLE TL; bit excessive. It seems like he took the easy route rather than re-paint it correctly.
I see he mentiond he'll have more cars for sale soon. I wonder if they'll all be of the "matte black" variety?

Hey now...I'm in NY. Talk to our Chicago friends about those crazy things. Although, I do think I saw a pic of a bright orange & black TL in the NY/NJ regional forums...
Hmm...I think you're on to something with that. I thought of that a while ago as a way to express profanities to "d-bags" on the road.
I always seem to run into the same ones on my daily commute. It'd be fun to have a nice comment for them now and then...you know us New Yorkers...road rage!

Alex Ovechkin has a Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series painted like that. Not my style, that's for sure. He already stands out for driving rather aggressively and a paint job like that just says "Hi, officer." You know who's coming when you see him on the road, that's for sure.
I have to wonder, though, if the swirl marks show up less with that sort of paint job than with the regular NBP.

Looks like CRAP!
"Absolutely One Of A Kind Murdered Out Matte Black Paint Job With Matte Coat Sealer"
That right there tells me they guy knows nothing about whats been done to his car. This look was way over played on Civic's and its sad to see it on a TL
