Matching switchback, with the HID's

Hey guys i was wondering which light bulbs would match the best for the switchbacks. the 6000k or 8000k? and also which site would you go to order them. i was looking at v-led and i don't know if these are good bulbs are not...

http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-HID-H...25430-1-2.html

Thanks!

I can't see that matching to well. I have the CBI 5000k and they don't match at all. I'll be ordering 6000K Matsushita bulbs from Matt @ TRS, they should be almost a perfect match.

Oops, I meant Morimoto bulbs, not Matsushita.

http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=126&osCsid=u2nenulsvk 5p1lncds9g9b4q7lol8bpi

He's getting a newly revised bulb in next week. If you're thinking of these through him. I'd contact Matt and ask him to tell you when the revised bulbs come in.

Forgot to add earlier. Not every 6000k bulb is going to Match other brand bulbs. Some may bluer, whiter, or more purpleish than others.

yea at first i was like egh about the look but i got used to it and it looks fine now. i really want to keep the philips 85122+ bulbs, but i also wanted switchbacks so this was the only way. my only option is to upgrade to osram cbi's for it to match better but they are too expensive.

Or you could maybe take apart the switchback and replace the LEDs. Wonder if there is an LED that has the 4300 look.

Installed my switchbacks tonight, and realized the 85122+ dont look so great.

Anyone have any feedback on those Morimoto 3Five bulbs yet?

It's on the same lever as your headlight switch.

Sorry guys, I've been MIA for a while. Work has been endless. As far as the bulbs go, I'm not very happy with them, not a good match with the switchbacks. Might want to look into something else.

Here's the best I can do. Pics taken with my iPhone. My 5K CBIs matched better than these.

Check and see what jptl04 has in his car, they seem to be a close if not exact match.

Previously installed 8000k...

Currently installed 6000k...

Really old pictures btw. As you can see, the 6000k match my 48-LED switchbacks better than the 8000k bulbs did.
