MANUAL OPERATING Daytime Running Lights install

Okay, so I just installed the DRL Module from Autobarn.com. Most of the folks on the forums did the install so that the DRL's are ALWAYS on whenever the car is on. I did my install so that they are on only when the parking lights turn on. I did use the DIY from the forums tho. Super helpful! Finding the correct wire to splice into on the turn signal was a little tricky. I had to unplug the turn signal plug and route it through to the main engine area. You will see 3 wires (Black, Red/black, Red/blue). The one you want to splice into is the RED/BLACK wire. It's the one on one of the sides.

Enjoy the pics!

Aren't manual operating daytime running lights, just headlights?

LOL, technically yes, but the headlights are HID's, the day time running lightsmodule turns on whenever the car is on. However, the way i wired it, the DRL's (fog lights) turn on when the parking lights are on.
