KBB retail value of a 2008 Acura TL with 650 miles is $31,495. $500 less than what the dealer is charging, not accounting for the $1000+ A-Spec kit. Seems fair to me.
I also. Wonder if the tires have flat spots. I really wanna know what this TL has been doing the last two years of it's life!

It just needs a real transmission!

Of course the car won't sell for that price; that's the retail value of it, what you can expect a dealer to list the car for. The dealer intentionally lists it for more than they'll sell it for as it allows for wiggle room when it comes time for haggling. My car was purchased for $2600 under the retail price.
I really don't think this car has been sitting on the lot for three years. I think it's had something to do with Acura NA. Like a car that they'd send off to car shows or something. Why in the hell the dealer debadged it? No clue. A perk to make the car look cleaner. Dealers around here add TL badges to the sides of 4Gs.

Just because those are on the car doesn't mean its worth that much to a dealer. Most dealers get kick backs on cars options if they sell a lot, or they come from the factory like this. Dealers don't "own" the cars as the ACURA company does, so why would they still have a car on the lot for 3 years paying interest on it? That car is worth 28k max. I guarantee it sells for $27 with taxes out the door.
Time is ticking and no Type-S. You have to ask yourself, what you would want: A Type-S with 20k miles or this? I'd take the Type-S any day of the week except maybe if I was gonna do a turbo on the base (For the turbo I'd probably get a base with higher miles anyways). The Type-S will also hold its value better.

It's way too much for an 08, even factoring the A-spec, Nav, and deck-lid spoiler. $26-27K is more reasonable. One could get an 07+ TL-S for less. Brand new base TLs without tech can be had for about that price. No thanks.

Just got off the phone with "Mike" from Niello Acura. The car is new. It's sat on the lot since October 2007- THREE YEARS. I asked why hasn't it sold and he said "Well this car just has a whole lot of stuff on it really. It's got the A-Spec package, it's a beautiful Nighthawk Black color with ebony interior. Actually Craig, new with all the goodies it has, it was about $46-47,000. This is our last 2008 we have sitting on the lot." Well no shit, and I wonder why. I tried not to laugh and just went along with it. I asked for his email to act like I wasn't BSing him and promptly got off the phone. Might as well give the car away at that rate. Can only imagine how much money they've lost on it. Sitting there for since 2007? Really?
Oh Mike. You crack me up...
