Man I love PUNCHIN' the TL!
I drive 92 miles a day and often forget how fun my car is to drive. Usually I keep it sane and shift below 3k (6 MT) so that I can average 30 to 31 miles per gallon for the day (mostly highway). I can't really afford to waste money on gas by gunning my car all the time... BUT, I do indulge sometimes ![Why Me](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/whyme.gif)
AND God do I love PUNCHIN' the gas and hitting that 6k to 6.5k RPM sometimes! In my daily commute, I forget how fun and fast (in my opinion) our sedans are. And even after four years and 98k, I still think my car is a show stopper. The lines are so beautiful. I just love to stop and take a gaze from across the parking lot. The design of our cars is timeless.
Anyways, just thought I would share these thoughts of mine. If you read this far, thanks!!!

Yea, it's nice to know the power is there in the car if and when you need it.

My sentiments, as well. I am still surprised at the way the car pulls with 3500 pounds and a small 6-cylinder engine. It does a fine job in my opinion.
And the appearance, as you say, is.... well, is very satisfying. I call it understated elegance.

I believe in cleaning the TB air plate and the intake manifold with a good cleaner and new spark plugs are due with 98 on the clock
Then the car will really get up and move!
run some Redline SI-1 in half tank of gas to restore spray pattern to injectors
If you want to PUNCH a car- buy an early saturn with its plastic sides!!
Got one for the wifes kid and showed her its cool feature by kicking and punching my way down the side of the car,,then telling her to clean those boot marks off,, I just washed it for her!!!
(evil stepfather laugh) lol

I have been driving my car "soft" lately, to help conserve gas. So when I step on it, man it feels like I haven't tamed the beast before I let it out of the cage! I love it. And my girlfriend is annoyed about how obsessed I am. I try so hard not to look back at my car after I park it, to check it out

Just recently got my TL (almost a month now) and god its so hard to resist revving it up to redline, the sound, the sensation, it all just works so well together. Definitely the best looking Acura, next to the NSX

I take it easy most of the time so it's nice to punch it once in a while, just to know the power is there ... just a side note that last time I rev it high, I see my MPG goes from 24 to 22 right away ...
