Make room for me!!

I have finally decided on an 05 TL auto with navi. Its anthracite with ebony!! I pick it up Saturday I can't even tell you the ordeal I put myself through. I was so torn between the TL and TSX. Then I didn't know if I wanted stick or auto, then I didn't know if I wanted navi or not. I'm talking it took almost a year to figure this shit out. So be prepared for an active member as I plan to be here often.

So my first question is should I get the mud flaps. I am a huge believer that they save your car from untold amounts of debris, but if they look funny, I'll pass.

Second question, how sexy will I look when I'm pimpin down the avenues in my gorgeous TL

Welcome to the club Rodney. I get my own Splash guard and they don't look funny at all. I have SSM and My friend with WDP also have Splash guard too. Unless your definition of mud flap is different from splash guard.

and for the second question, the car will look sexy, but for you, I dunno...

EDIT:
PS: the car will look sexier if I drive it...

I got the mud flaps on my white TL and like them, and with your Anthracite, you won't even notice them. They will protect well also.

The mud/splash guards were designed for a specfic reason and not just an add on. Personally, I think they look great on the AM as it blends with the contour as well as the color. Mind you, some folks don't like at all and will give you possible reasons for not installing them. Bottom line, it's a personal choice of having them on or leaving them off.

The dealer actually put them on when it was delivered to the dealership...along w/ wheel locks, and trunk tray...i didn'thave a choice.

Ron's right.... I also put them on my '03 Anthracite TL-s and you could hardly tell they were there.

Get the splash guards. I have AM/Quartz, and the flaps blend well as stated by other AM owners.

Also, my car looks sexiest with my wife driving it... both of the things I lust after most in one neat package.

I have Anthracite/Ebony/6MT/Nav and I installed the Acura splash guards the three days after I bought the car. You won't even notice them with Anthracite and when you do, they look just fine. But the important thing is that they WORK and work well. I HIGHLY recommend getting them.

As for "how sexy will I look when I'm pimpin down the avenues in my gorgeous TL", if that's New York talk for a cool ride, then most definitely you'll look cool. This is one drop dead gorgeous car.. from every angle.

Welcome aboard and enjoy!

Its going to snow like crazy tonight, and they better have all the roads clear and clean for my pick up date on Saturday

One for question. How many people opted to discontinue their XM service after the 3 month free trial. I presume that most subcribed??

I continued my service because there was a 1/2 price promotion going on last summer. I got a full year tacked on to my 3-month trial period for $60.

Good decision you took about the spash guards.. you will NOT be disappointed.. especially with the Anthracite.

BTW, the Anthracite/Ebony is a fine combination.. you'll love it.

Yep, on my AM they blend in BUT they also add this extra something to the TL which is very cool. They are very nice...

Love the Anthracite/Ebony combination. Mud guards are great - they work really well too, and they even catch some of the small pebbles that fly up behind your rear wheels.

I wonder how Natalie would look in a TL.

Cool

I personally don't care for the mudflaps myself.

My Anthracite/Ebony/Navi has arrived at the dealer and I will be picking it up on Sunday. I went with the A-Spec look (underbody spoilers) and the deck lip spoiler.

You know, I really don't like the look of the splash guards, but my car already had them installed when I bought it. I had every intention of ripping them off and throwing them in the trash, but I didn't get around to it and now I'm glad. With NHB I forget they are there.
