Maintenence reminders

I have 29,000 miles and the A12 service reminder is on ....


Anyone have prices of that service and what it requires...?

those who leased , what have u done when this notice comes on ?

Recommended service for your 2004 Acura TL:

Replace engine oil*1

*1: If the message, "SERVICE DUE NOW" does not appear more than 12 months after the display is reset, change the engine oil every year.


Independent of the maintenance messages in the Multi-Information Display, replace the brake fluid every 3 years.

Inspect idle speed every 160,000 miles (256,000 km).

Adjust the valves during services A, B, 1, 2, or 3 if they are noisy.

how often is everyone rotating thier tires, i just replaced my tires when i had 25k miles, now i almost have 30k

Mine got rotated at 6,000 miles when the service advisor recommended it, but the tread difference was only 1/32 at the time, so she was probably just padding the bill a bit. Then at 18,000 miles I had all four replaced under the service bulletin for the rear tires wearing prematurely because the rears were *still* worn 1/32 greater than the fronts. The beauty of this was the dealer had documented everything for me on their service receipts or else I'm not sure I would have gotten them to do this!
