Maintenance Schedule for Acura TL, 2006

Hi,

I bought my Acura TL 2006 6MT brand new and I have around 45k miles on it so far. To date I have been going for maintenance services only when a maintenance reminder comes up like A1, B1, and so on.

Apart from these codes that come up, do I still need to look into any other regular maintenance services like ones which are done at 15k, 30 K, 45k, 60k and so on? Or are they covered in the maintenance codes that come up ?

Anyone has any idea? Please advise.

Thanks.

Use the MID, but brake fluid every 3 years and if the car isn't driven much, motor oil/filter change every year. Naturally you have the air filter and cabin filter that isn't addressed by the MID.

turbo- the "2" on the MID indicates the cabin and air filter change, though some people change them more often (at least the cabin filter...mine looked pretty nasty after 20Kmi ).

to the OP-not to be harsh, but since you've owned the car since new...everything you need to know about your maintenance schedule is in your owner's manual. no mileage schedules, just your MID. the only thing NOT on the MID is brake fluid (see turbo's comment on that), and the power steering fluid (not in the owner's manual as part of standard maintenance). most will change the PS fluid on a 60K mi interval, some will do it with brake flluid, and others will only change when its dirty...its more preventative than anything.

Good catch! Actually now that you point this out, the 2 is for both the air filter as well as the cabin filter. Guess the memory is lapsing as my age increases.
