Lightbulb Maintenance question

Hi, everyone! I'm new to the site here and just recently purchased a 2005 Acura TL (sport). It's a Beautiful car by the way. Anyways, I just had a few maintenance questions regarding the car. The car has had 1 owner, an older lady, and the car has approximately 142,000 miles on it. I bought the car from a Lexus dealer and was given every receipt for all the maintenance ever done on car, which was great. Going through them, not much has been done, except for a few repairs and fluid changes. I was wondering given it's miles if I should perform any maintenance on car? I've read that timing belts(along with water pumps) should be changed at 105k. Is that something I should look into? What else should I get done or looked at? Remember I know nothing about cars, so please keep that in mind.

I did not use the search function, if there is a thread that already answers these questions please leave a link.

Thanks

Welcome!

I think you should start by stating what's been done to it first, so we can go from there. Yeah, the 105k service is a definite. Trans oil change, power steering fluid change, cabin filter, compliance bushings, brake fluid change.....

These are just off the top of my head, but should cover most of the major stuff.

I would reference the back of your manual (if you have it) and look for hot ticket items to cross-reference on your receipts (105K, major repairs, service intervals). At 142K, I would hope your 105K was performed!

After that, hit up the 3G Garage and see if there is anything you would want to do preventative-wise. Linky: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/3g-tl-garage-faq-3g-tl-newbies-553554/

Congrats on the new car and welcome to AZ!!

Sorry, not trying to hijack the thread. But what are the compliance bushings? And why would you replace them as maintenance?

They are the front bushings in the from lower control arms, the ones shaped liked hockey pucks, with a bolt through them. They are very well know for failure on our tl's, anywhere around 60k miles. They are very prone to wear due to the torque of the j series engine, and the amount of weight the power train puts on the front suspension.
