Maintainence at 60k miles?

Hey all. It's been a while since I've posted on here, but I usually get really good information when I do, so I thought I'd go ahead and ask a question that's on my mind. I tried to search around for info but got a bit overwhelmed.

Basically I've got an '06 5AT TL and just hit the 60k mile mark. Up until last week, the only maintainence I've ever done are oil changes at 15% (full synthetic), air and cabin filters every 15k, a new battery, and new tires. A couple of days ago I decided to go ahead and get the tranny fluid flushed per the manual's "harsh conditions" recommendation. Holy cow, what a difference! I knew that my tranny was shifting pretty hard and clunked pretty loudly when putting in D or R, but man, it shifts so buttery smooth now, it's like a brand new car!

That got me to thinking what other maintainence I should be doing to my car.

What would your suggestions be for maintainence? What other fluids or filters should I look at? Any sensors that should be replaced? If someone with more knowledge than me could put together a concise list for me, I would appreciate it. Overall my car drives very well and I haven't had any problems, but want to keep it going for a very long time.

Thanks!

I'm over here in Buckeye on the West side of this 110 degree heat bowl and have about 60k on my '07TLS. I think there are a couple of things you may have overlooked is a coolant change, not a coolant flush. Have you had the brake fluid changed? I changed the 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches on my auto trans a little while ago and didn't notice any change but I understood it to be good preventive maintenance. Acura suggests the timing belt change earlier than the 105k if operated in hot (+110) temps which you know we have been having lately but it is not consistant year round so I'm not sure that is important. I think if you follow the owner's manual on maintenance these cars will last a long time.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, I saw the thread on the tranny pressure switches. I think I'll do that sometime in the intermediate future. As far as the timing belt, I don't think I'll wait until 105k miles but I don't really want to do it now. I'll probably pick somewhere in between (maybe 85k miles) since sometimes it's over 110, but not all the time. Thanks also for the suggestion on coolant and brake fluid. For the brake fluid, do you have to bleed all of the fluid out of each individaul caliper or is there an easier way that is sufficient? (Sorry not too familiar with TL brake system; just asking based on what I had to do with my '99 Saturn)

When bleeing the brake system the object is to remove all of the old brake fluid so that would mean a total bleed. You can save a few bucks by having it done at a Honda dealer rather than Acura.
