Made some custom LEDs

I've been working on making some custom LEDs recently and just finished earlier. I am using Piranha Super Flux LEDs soldered onto a blank circuit board. I guarantee these to be brighter than anything you can find on the market. Here are some pics:

It makes the inside of my car turn into daylight when I turn them on at night. I've seen superbrightleds, vleds, etc, and nothing on the market can compare to these.

I couldn't have lights on the inside as bright as the ones that you are describing. I would get blinded if someone turned them on at night while I was driving.

I don't understand you people that are so fascinated with interior lighting that you go and buy (or in this case, make) something as bright as a flash light just to be your dome lights. It's like everyone is trying to 1-up each other on who has the brightest interior lighting.

I get 5-leds and call it a day. Plenty of brightness. But yet there are people putting 24 or 48 LED boards in the interior.... I guess...

I leave my interior lighting switch turned off so whenever I open the doors at night none of my interior lighting illuminates. I just find it a lot better imo. I guess the majority of you like to show off your lights at night and that's why you opt for the brightest blinding interior lighting possible... Not me. I just use it when I need to read or find something and turn it right off.

Trust me, this is brighter than anything you can buy for $12.... Lol. And yea I know not everyone wants super bright LEDs, it was just a project I wanted to try out. Honestly it's freaking bright so looking at it directy is blinding but if you don't look at it directly, it will give you a lot of visibility/light.
I'll post pics later, it was late last night and I was tired. Also, it's hard to capture brightness with a digital camera but I will try my best....

Haha OP I'm waiting on my 15 SMDs right now from some eBay seller in China. I want to get some Blue LEDs now though for the doors. There is a point where it is TOO bright. When you are driving with your girlfriend at night against oncoming traffic and she drops her mascara in between her seat and the center console and has to have those bright lights on for 3-4 minutes, I would think you would want something that doesn't blind you from seeing outside. Otherwise, I would love to have the power to have it be as bright as daylight when I need it to be.

so......what you're saying is rather than be proud of something you built yourself you'd rather pay someone else to do it for you and take all the enjoyment out of it? To each his own, not everyone gets enjoyment out of making something themselves or unique.
