Coming home last night, I was in a bit of a hurry. I had to get home, grab the business checks and cash and head to the bank before they close at 5......

So heading home from work, I was driving a bit faster than usual. Coming to a merging lane where slow lane split into 2 lanes at a light and eventually merge into 1 about 1/8 miles down the road. I saw yellow light so I moved over to the merging lane thinking I'd be first and bounce from there. What happened next crack me up.... a BMW what looks like a 2003~2005 coupe M3 suddenly pulls out of from the slow lane as I head toward for the 1st spot in the merging lane. He cuts me off and takes the 1st spot. I thought to myself "M3, not bad, it'll take off so least I'm not behind some slow minivan in a merging lane." I noticed the passenger looks back, looks at the driver, looks back, then at the driver, laugh, looks back." I'm thinking "WTF...." then the passenger looks back again and gave me a this is when I say "WTF...."

I heard the M3 revs, so I know he wants to show off. Light goes green, the red M3 coupe guns it, spun its wheel like crazy... obviously this guy doesn't know what he's doing and I take off behind him. The M3 pulls pretty quick initially but I was right behind him, I shift over to the fast lane and just pulled on him......
we came hit traffic ahead and the M3 pulls behind me. We caught another red and this time he pulls into the slow lane and next to me. I look over and sees what seems to be 2 guys in their early 40s...... The driver said "I spun my tires and misshifted..... " I replied "are you kidding me? I was behind you, I pulled up next to you and then pulled some more......"
He replied "we should do it again......" I look ahead, I see a ton of traffic so I replied "too much traffic, I'm not playing weeving in and out of traffic game, plus when you learn how to shift and not spin your tires, then you look me up."

I left it at that.......
what made my day wasn't beating the M3, it was seeing 2 old guys racing in M3....... WTF....

 

oh man ... i guess they don't find that to be embarrassing

 

typical bimmer owner especially from an m3 owner...

 

lol...very typical bimmer owner...hell, he was probably sport-shifting to add insult to his amazing driving skills...

 

dumb ass I guess he still didnt figure out you were boosted..

I would really appreciate for anyone to indicate your spec before going all out with the stories... Spec is very very important. Without it, it's worthless.......

lol, I could imagine anyone in a M3 going fast, even if they are in the 40's, but..... wussup with the thumbs down?? Not even an 18 yr old would do that....yalk about mid-life crisis....

 

I guess they were 2 immature 40 year olds who still tries to enjoy live with M3s... (nothing wrong with that... just sometimes you end up racing against a car that's much faster than you lol...)

specs are Comptech Supercharged blower, AEM modified intake, pulley, catback exhaust, Rotora BBK...... and pretty much thats' it.

 

You forgot to mention you have the HBP as well.
