alright, got the 06 home safe and secure and am fvvcking loving every second of it.


anyway; dealer wants 200+ 50 for install of the m3 lip spoiler told them ill pass.


what is the best as in best price, customer service, fast shipping; place to get this from?

any links would be appreciated; i tried acura of las vegas where my friend got all his aspec stuff for his rsx and they only have the suspension in stock.


also how is the install on this? I have no problem with mechanical stuff but i dont want to fvvck up the paint/deck lid.

u can get the fake one off ebay for like 150 i think(could be cheaper). its jus double sided tape and should be a breeze to install. the factory one has 2 screws and your trunk needs to be drilled. up to you many people on the board have gotten the fake one and they are happy with it.

ill do the oem, 2 holes? are they premarked on the decklid?

Wait a sec....

Do you mean the actual M3 spoiler or the OEM Acura lip spoiler?

The OEM lip spoiler comes with a template that references the 2 holes that you'll have to tap and drill in the decklid. When I did mine, I applied some silicone adhesive around the holes to hopefully keep out moisture.

You also need to replace the springs in trunk lid, as I read here.

Not for the lip spoiler..only for the wing.

i bought the 3rd party spoiler off ebay from a vendor that other people bought from on this board. very pleased. price was more than 50% off the OEM one, and almost exactly the same.

most people are very surprised it isnt an official one, they are more surpsied that i instaleld it...

but it's just a few pieces of double sided tape and some good alignment

There's a very long thread detailing buying a lip spoiler from ebay that has lots of pictures in it. Search for imitation lip spoiler. I'm too lazy to find it right now .
