Lucky I wasn't in the mood for racing...
I was going home after a tea-time around Arcadia and on my home (CA-60) when an eclipse (98'ish style) was hovering behind me really close... He get real close then go slower and do it repeatedly... Traffic was clear so he definitely asking for a race...
I was too tired from work and decided to pass and still drive on the regular pace (about 70mph with the other cars)... I was on the second right most lane... The eclipse was tired of it and decided to accelerate really fast and flew by... I was thinking of showing him "who's the boss" but decided "nah... " out of the blue, a red blue light came up within seconds and chased the Eclipse...
Phew... Too many cops lately, so time to cool down especially on a Fri nite...

that acutally happend to me as well. i was on 405 going south by skirball going up, s2000 kept on passing me and slowing down and kept on passing me and slowing down untill CHP went right behind him and pull him over by getty center.

For those of you who really want to open up your TL, please take it to a track, not on the traffic road. It's dangerous yourself and for others...

Well how well did you do...???
In many magazine races, the tl might fair pretty well in a 0-60 run, but in real world driving with rolling starts as well as a delay in reaction some of the other cars with much mre torque like a 545 can be gone in a flash...

hahah that same thing happened to me but not in my TL
before i had the tl i had an accord... body kit, rims, paint, bla bla bla
i was driving home from my cousins house at about 2 in the morning on a friday night and this eclipse starts messing with me, revving his engine, takes off and slows down and takes off and slows down...... im tired and my wife is in the car sleeping... no way am i gona run some idiot....
the guy gets right next to me and floors it... just as his rear bumper passes my front bumper, i see a cop just behind him pass me by with his lights on. it was instantaneous, the cop had to have been watching the eclipse the whole time
HAHAHAHAHA that sucks... he was too busy trying to egg me on that he didnt even bother to look if there was a cop or not....
i dont know about you guys, but thats the first thing i do before i decide to play with a fellow driver or not....

My friend was nailed sometimes last month driving 90 on the CA-60 on Friday nite.... He wasn't racing or anything, just driving fast since the freeway is half empty... too many cops on the CA 60 btw 605 and 57...
