lower grille mod question
I tried doing the lower grille mod, where you mesh them.
I couldnt get the mesh to stay to the lower grille, I tried using epoxy and it completly ruined the project, so I had to throw it out....
is there a different way to keep it in and secured, other than "pressure" lol, this would probably clear up alot for some people....
also does anyone know how to remove the rear licence plate trim? j.w for the link to the thread.
also, after you get the full front bumper off, and are doing the headlight clearing mod, how do you take out the headlights after the front bumper is off?

I am not sure where you went wrong, if the mesh is cut so that it matches the grill insert dimension all you need to do is sandwich it back together between the grill and the bumper and the grill clips will lock it back in. That is the pressure method that it sounds as if you do not want, but it works perfectly

Use JB weld to adhere the mesh to the frame .. also mark and cut your mesh and pre fit it "before" you take out the bars in the lower grill. Once the bars are cut out the grill gets floppy and its bery hard to size the mesh right.
Devcon Plastic steel also works good .. its thicker than JB and stays in place better .
I tied my mesh in with wire garbage bag ties untill the adhesive set.
