Hi All...I need a ebony driver side door piece for my 2004 acura. (this is the piece that you can flip out--its like a storage compartment for the door).
Mine is all chewed up and I figured I could get it from a junkyard maybe ? Can anyone else suggest where I can get this ? I dont want to pay a ridiculous amount so I wont buy it new...

 

I think you had it right when you said junkyard. Search for "auto salvage" or "auto salvage yard" in your local yellow pages.

I wonder why that piece gets chewed up easily?... the car i was going to purchase prior to the one i actually bought had the same issue (07 TL)...it seemed like the last driver jabbed 2 pens on it, it's crazy. I'd try the junkyard first and hopefully the condition is up to your standards...Good luck with your search.

 

thats weird. i wouldnt think that that peice would get beat up.
