Love this car

A lot of us (me included) has whined at some point about our TL-S. Well we just got back from a weekend in Seattle and the car is amazing. It's the first real road trip it's had since i bought it in March. About 600 miles round trip on I-90 with a 1 major mountain pass and 2 smaller ones. I averaged 80 MPH and pulled down 30 MPG with the A/C on! On asphalt the car is so quiet it's scary, even with my stage 3 exhaust mod.
Concrete at 80 MPH ground up by studded tires made for a noisier ride though. I'm sure a lot of that is from those damn stock Michelin MXM4 whatevers.
The NAV was sure handy in Seattle. I never use it here in Spokane.
I just wanted to pass this on. What a great car. I felt so safe, so in control and all the power i would ever need. I wish i could of drove at 100 MPH! The car sure wanted to.
Also noticed that the tires on the sunny side of the car were about 2 or 3 PSI higher than the shady side. Ambient temp outside was about 85 degrees. Interesting.

I just got back Sunday from a week's vacation in the Lowcountry (that's the South Carolina coastal area). I actually drove less than I normally do when down there - most of the restaurants we went to were closer. Total miles for the trip was around 1100. This was the fifth time my '04 manual TL has made this trek and as usual, all was well and enjoyable. A superb road car with a high fun factor. Nice way to travel.
