I thought I should post a message describing how much I really enjoy this car. It is beautifully conceived in every aspect - engineering, style, ergonomics, haptics, etc. I find nothing over or underdone. It is a design and engineering acheivement to say the least. It's a blast to drive and has enough toys and technology to keep any techno geek proud. It even has it's share of "best of's" - like DVD-A, Navi, or the 270hp VTEC V6. And to top it off, it's a brilliant value at it's price point. I could say much more but don't want go on too much. Suffice it to say that I don't know if Acura could have done much better.

So, while I do have quite a few significant (imo) complaints about the fit and finish on my vehicle, I am still very pleased that Acura released this model and am very happy to own one. (BTW, it does appear that my fit and finish issues are relatively uncommon.)

I will add that I share in the disappointment that Acura chose such a poorly rated tire to go with such an excellently executed design.

Other than those two points, there seem to be no issues.

I am still enjoying the fact that I still see very few 2004 TL's on the road right now. The current average is about 1 every couple of days. That's pretty scarce for LA. That won't last long though, with this package.

I've seen much less on the road in the Bay Area, 3 in 2 weeks.
