Love being debadged!

Ever since i debadged my T.L-s (left only the "A" symbol) I've been attracting more "racers". I'm on my way home from richmond(CA) and this new 2dr Accord tailgates the shit out of me(any sudden braking from me would have resulted in an accident). He jumps in the next lane revves his engine and takes off! I see the V6 emblem and take off after him. For a minute I couldn't gain on him but as I hit about 90 I pulled right past him. I slowed down to 60 and let him catch up then floored it but he didn't try to race me again. About 2 minutes later I see him pulling hard in the lane next to me but I was already satisfied with my kill but the dumb ass pulls into the emergency lane to pass me and a couple of other cars before dangerously cutting back into the fast lane! One of the dumbest ricer fly by's i've ever seen! On another note I raced a saleen mustang on the way to richmond and got killed! He took this sharp curve at a least 110 with ease( I was doin' bout' 90 with some new tires fresh off the alignment rack and almost lost it!
I have an 03 T.L-s w i/h/e/p with no resonator!

There was a mustang that pulled into the emergency lane (or shoulder, whatever it's called) to pass me and a few cars in front of me....some people can be very dangerous.

Buy anyways, nice kill. I guess the driver in the accord was too pissed.

Btw, you must be very brave to challenge a saleen mustang. I wouldn't mess with even a mustang unless it's the V6 one!

when a car come flying like that, I usually let them go....
I already know what I can beat and cannot, it's pointless to show off.........cuz in the end, nobody really wins but the cops....

I like to win races but if they need to take it as far as ridin' in the emergency lane & puttin' other drivers at risk they could have it...i guess it makes them feel better!

Ohh! Then that could be a problem....I guess people who challenge TL-S must be thinking about this sometimes too. They didn't know it has 260hp until they get left far behind

Many people dont even expect 2nd Gen TL's to be modded at all and under estimate them. I havent caught a race in the longest time..

I get racers down here all the time.. especially on the wider local streets and the Gandy Bridge down here in Tampa... now that I've arrived, word's been going around about me (from what I've heard from others) about the car itself. No one here's used to a modded TL, so they get too curious out of no where.. I mean geez... a modded 2.3 Mazda 3 came after me today as I was leaving USF to come back to UT. I asked why he wanted to race, his response?.. "I was told to look out for the nameless Acura with the scratched bumper, what the hell do you have in that car?!"

With all the dudes I run into on the street, even the simple trips i take to just get to walmart (usually 10 mins-15mins) take over 2 hrs. Sadly, this is NOT an exaggeration.

All I have to do is hit 101.........there's always modded honda's/acura's that challenge me but u know that's not fair for a T.L-s and now that i'm debadged I guess they think I'm a T.L-p!

I kinda wish i'd get picked on by some lower class cars over here. I always get 350z's, RX-8s, modded GTI's and this one cocky SOB in a jaguar type-R. You know, the s-type thats an R? So its an S type-R? (It's really hard for my honda mind to comprehend something thats an s-type-r.) Anyway, he's burnt me TWICE. But I know exactly what neighborhood he lives in, and I swear that as soon as I get my 335, i'm coming for his ass.

Edit: if you had seen my spelling....

Don't you have a T.L-s? I think you should handle RX-8's & 350z's especially that ur modded! Now a modded gti used to hand my ass to me every mornin' commuting to San Jose! But that was in my 97 2.2 w/ i/e!!

LOL I like the part where you described how hard it is for you to comprehend s-type-r. damn that's funny. But honestly Jaguar should come up with something more original....or did they have a type r decades ago?

Haha. Oh no, dont think i'm saying that I wish I got picked on by lower class cars because I lose all the time. Its just, I'm constantly having to beat the bazookas out of my car all the time. I remember when I was stock, people in nice little stock b16 civics and crx's would come play with me, and i'd chuckle as I smoothly over took them. Playing with the people in your league is always more fun, but between remembering to turn off VSA, and making sure that you can recognize headlights in your rearview mirror so you know whehter or not the 5-->3. 4-->2 SS downshifts are necessary, its alot more work!

I really really cannot ever remember there being the letter R in any jag. XK has been around forever. I just looked at wikipedia to see their previous/historical models... and there is no sign of the letter R. So I have concluded that their use of the letter R is a complete, utter travesty

All racers and fast street/freeway racers are invited to attend any number of high performance driving schools- there are 3 or 4 different groups- that run at the 3 mile long road race course called Thunderhill, in Willows, about an hour north of Sacramento on I-5- 3 hours from the bay area and there are motels near the track see thunderhill.com other areas of the country see scca.org

You will learn the skills needed to simply walk away from most anyone in the corners, because you will understand that proper braking, apexing and exiting are what make for fast cornering.

Horsepower only makes it go fast in a straight line. At the track in the race car, 3 Vettes running together will thunder past me at 120 ++ (about 30 mph faster than me at that point) on the straight and then we get to the hairpin and I can take them all on the inside, but why bother, they just roar past on the next straight.

Track Day Driving School should be mandatory in my opinion.

In Europe, especially for the Autobahn, you go to a what is basically race school then take a 1.5 hour drive with an evaluator. After demonstrating roundabouts and parking and basics, its on to the Autobahn for 30 minutes of driving at speeds that would have most Americans biting the dashboard.
He actually asked "what will this car do?" (like he didnt already know)
OK then , show me you can handle it at that speed

So again, I beg everyone to invest $250 dollars in your life and the life of others.
Learn to really drive!

Bay Area residents will recall a recent crash between a newly licensed girl in a HO Mustang- she clipped the right front corner of an Explorer, cutting in front of it at approx 100 mph
Explorer rolled.
KILLED: The Prince of Tonga and his wife and a local friend who was driving
The girl- unhurt
Her attorney speculates she was not racing and may not have even been speeding
Cant wait to see if the mustang has a data recorder!
