Also i called acura of south bay. I talked to Artie, and he said he would even give me a better price than $31,767 to make my drive worth it. (but i dont REALLY want to drive down there under this hot weather)
My goal is, is to get the car at $32,024 in which it would include the pro pack. I'm pretty sure we can do it. We can play the "walking out" trick and threaten to go to another dealer heh. If that doesn't work, we'll walk back in LOL.

In PA, at least at our local Harrisburg dealer, you cannot get them to budge on the numbers (although, otherwise a fabulous dealer).
I paid $36,000+ (sticker before my add-ons) for my '05 w/ navi and the only "extras" that came with it were the wheel locks. '06's the same ($35, 900 on up)...............
Take a look-see...

Get Navi. It is worth it. Even if you never use it. The interior looks more complete with it and I always use the radio functions on the touch screen and use the calculator/notepad for stuff.

My county tax rate is 7.75% (Orange County). They charge you the tax rate of the county you reside in and not where the dealer is located. The dealer is located in L.A. county and their rate is 8.25%. I am glad I live in the O.C.
Jerry at SB acura does so many deals. His sell board rotates through sales achieved very fast.

1. its is VERY useful (one of the best stock navi systems offered from other cars in the TL's catagory)
2. looks great, as was said above, completes the interior
3. touch screen is nice, calender is nice, calculator is nice

I am planning to get 5 T.V.s for 1 grand.
2 visors, 2 backseat, and 1 indash all for around 1 grand to replace the navi.

Well, I was wrong again. They sold me the '05 for as much as they were selling the '06's; the only reason I still went with the '05 is because it was still rated at 270hp and even if there wasn't "any difference with the rating", it's still is nice seeing the 270 horsies on paper (as retarded as that may sound).

i would just get navi, convert it to a tv/dvd, and get 4 screens. obviously the MORE EXPENSIVE route, but cleaner and more personally satisfing (at least to me)

Even if i did save up 2 more grand for downpayment, he would still be against it. He just thinks i do not need it. Also, he thinks because i am only 21, i should be focusing on school, and NOW isn't the time for me to get my shine on lol. (i'll admit he is right)
but who knows, maybe i can change his mind. wish me luck

Well...
The latest newsletters from various dealers show the invoice price for 06 TL w/ Navi has dropped to $32K or even $31.8K here in the bay area. I believe dealers has received message from Acura about 07 release date, and are ready to dump what they have in stock...
Will fight w/ them this weekend, and see how far I can go!
Any suggestions on the target price?

I just got a 06 TL w/navi for 34800 drive out. The price before TTL was 32500. Tax here is 6.25%. I think I did really well I got silver with black interior. I wanted white with black w/ navi but my friend got it the day before.

that sounds pretty good for your location.
i just bought a TL yesterday for my daily commute, since my Audi is now giving me less that 15mile per gallon.
i sent out bunch of request online and went with the cheapest one. i guess i could've bargin more but i didn't want the hazzel and was happy with the number.
bottomline, i got the car from Thomas Acura in covina...
06 TL anthracite with quartz and Nav
price before DMV/tax was 31570
also includes wheel locks/somekind of polish (junk)/mud guards
overall the best price was at Thomas, while keyes would definitely match it and santa monica as well.
cerrito was higher and alhambra was almost 800 higher and told me they would not sell the car for what i was quoted even with proof.

then when you do financing you should be like, lets see how much is the difference per month for the navi vs non navi....and you should be like... how bout 31,000 for the navi...and of course they goin to say, they wont even bother asking manager because that price is crazy low, then you should say please try 31,500. And they will go try and come back 10 min later with a cheaper price
hopefully.
