Okay sports fans, I got my money down, VIN in hand, and the clock is ticking! Car shipped on Friday, due early next week. I got the camel interior with 5AT and NAVI. All-righty then! I went back today to ask some more questions about the price breakdown of my deal. After explaining everything in great detail, and patiently answering all of my questions, (we had a spirited discussion on what I thought was a "hidden cost", $595 for "paint protection and fabric something or other, that I SPECIFICALLY told them I did not want!) the sales manager took another $500 off the purchase price and I went home a happy camper! I got the lo-jack price because as an officer of the law, I can get a substantial discount from lo-jack directly (hey, it beats free coffee). BTW the dealer cost of the lo-jack is $290...EVERYTHING is negotiable.
