Switchbacks - VLEDs Triton V3 7443 - Plug and Play

Lower Fogs - Just get HIDs or "frosty" LEDs H8 - Plug and play if LEDs, use relay harness if you're using HIDs (it's like 10$ for the harness or buy a HID kit that includes a harness).
Frosty LEDs: https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...s-hids-915743/
If you want to buy LEDs from VLEDs:
This is their selection - http://www.vleds.com/shop-bulb-numbe...s.html?cat=696

DRL - Do the independent fog light mod, and just get bulbs - no harness needed.
https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...switch-772633/
The harness is only needed if you have factory DRL so you won't get an error, and get full power.
Looks like VLEDs doesn't sell amber 9006 bulbs, so you'll need to go somewhere else.

For what application?

You don't need one for your "DRL" aka your upper fogs, and you don't need one for your lower fogs.

This is the setup I came up with so Far...

Turn Signal- VLEDs Triton V3 7443; Comes with all the hardware?

5K WHITE AMBER SWITCHBACK V3 TRITON LED SYSTEM | 1 PAIR - 7443 - 7440 LED - Shop Bulb #

Upper Fogs- Amber Led might not be drl. So according to what you said just Plug in.

Lower Fogs- Frosty's h8 leds . Just plug in.

What is the middle light between the upper fog and turn signal? Told you I was a noob

The middle light would be your low beams

Yup, your upper fogs are just plug in, since they are not actually "DRL".
Lower fogs is plug in, also.

No harness is needed for your car

No sir. Your hid main beams is another word for your low-beams aka your headlights. Those are D2S.

Your fog lights in your headlights..

Your low beams and your high beams are projected from the HID housing in the outer most projectors of your headlights. That D2S bulb is an HID (High Intensity Discharge) bulb. There is a flap in that projector to allow more (high beam) or less (low beam) light through. You don't want to mess with trying to put an LED there.

So in your headlights from outside to inside, running/turnsignals lights (you're about to put the triton v3's there), then your headlights (high beam/low beam D2S HID's), then your upper fogs.

Yeah makes sense. Anything a little brighter than stock you can recommend ? and more white to complement the vled switchback.

ijdmtoy is junk.

As far as brighter D2S hid bulbs I recommend osram cool blue intense. They are rated 5500K whereas factory D2S bulbs are 4300K. They will be more white and more bright (more lumen output)

Check them out at www.TheRetrofitSource.com

Type-S uses 1157 turn signal bulbs instead of 7443.

9005 daytime running lights in the center compared to fog lights for the 04-06 lights.

And yeah osram CBI are 5000K. No clue why I said 5500K

Ended up buying these leds for the 9005 drl. Are these plug and play since they are leds going into the drl socket?

Nope you'll need a relay harness. DRL socket supplies bulbs with 6v whereas those LEDs need 12v+ to illuminate

And your right about the order of the lights. When I said "center" I was thinking about starting from the lights near the center of the car next to the front grill. Sorry for the confusion

No, you don't need a harness. vietx thinks you have a DRL socket on your 2004 TL.

Factory 07/08 need one because it has a DRL socket which only provides 6V.

Your 04-06 upper fog connector is already 12V, but it is 9006.
Swap the connector to 9005 and do the independent fog mod.

Yeah, he really is

All he has to do is cut the 9006 connector off, and wire it to a 9005 connector to fit the DRL bulb slot in the new headlight.

As far as power, that "9006 socket converted to 9005" will still be 12V.

Are the switchbacks annoying to other drivers?

I'm thinking about taking advantage of their Cyber Monday sale, but I was wondering if the V3 Triton Switchbacks would be annoying to other drivers when lit white in the front turn signals behind USR diffusers. Has anyone looked at what their switchbacks look like at night when lit white, while sitting in another car? Please tell me they don't cause glare to oncoming drivers so that I can get them now.
