they have been out of NBP as well for over 2 months....and they were rude as hell about it....instead of them eating the 40 dollars and having it painted somewhere else they lost the whole sale....I asked them to even split the difference and only charge me 20 instead of 40 for someone else to paint it....they wouldn't budge and told me that they would lose out on 20 dollars and I said yea so instead your going to lose over 100....makes sense... I don't know where else to buy one...debating on just biting the bullet and buying type S from dealer...

 

NOOO!!! that would cost $500 plus install!! just buy the primer'd spoiler( http://www.ebay.com/itm/SPOILER-ACUR...item19d3e11e65 ) and go to your body shop and have them paint match it. don't know how much they'll charge, but it wont be anywhere near $500

 

Yea I know but that isnt type s lip either thats base lip....and they charge 80 bucks for primered spoiler and 100 for painted....I think that is too high for nothing but primer when I could pay 20 more and have it paint matched....just wish they had the damn NBP in stock lol

 

Just ordered a WDP spoiler from thespoilerstore after reading through this thread, looks close enough for the Type S and no holes to drill, I hate the raised spoiler on these cars. Anybody have a pic of this spoiler with a roof spoiler? I'm kinda mixed on them but I'm wondering if one flows well with this spoiler.

 

There are alot of people's rides with both I am mixed on this mod as well.....it looks sick from some angles and then barely noticeable from other angles.... I will probably end up getting both though

Can you get the type s trunk door and replace it with your base model trunk door ? Cause the type s trunk has the deck lid spoiler.

 

Still Out 500+ lol I know your getting more equipment for about the same price but 500 just isn't in my budget and I haven't called the Tim about it but if you get on and look at type s trunk it doesn't look as if it comes with the spoiler I mean ideally it should but like I said haven't called yet but if it does you could definitely do that but still put 500+

Those lips looked pretty nice..too bad it sounds like the spolierstore is going down...I'd be interested if someone comes up with something else.

 

I talked to Bruce (AckTl05) he is an Acura vendor and he said the type s trunk doesn't come installed with spoiler however he found me an OEM NBP type s lip for 370 so I bought it....might talk to him and see if he can find one for you....they are VERY hard to find thats why I went ahead and bought this one...didn't want to spend 370 on something so small but its better than 500+ looks great
