Just get it. Best car I've ever owned.

Oh, and check this thread for some of the possible issues. Don't get discouraged though, most of these are isolated problems.

I have an 08 TL-S and it's simply the best car I've owned. Puts a smile on my face daily. I've not had any issues with it except a paint chip on the front bumper which the dealership took care of.

I'm averaging about 23 mpg in mixed driving. No issues at all with my '08 TL-S.
I've had several Hodas/Acuras over the years and never had any major reliability problems. Taken care of, they will last for years. Take all the standard precautions for buying any used car (CARFAX, inspection, service records, etc.) and you'll be golden.

TL-S FTW!

I have always liked 3G TL's since they were introduced in 04. I never thought I could justify the cost though. Well after first driving one in 06 I was like wow, I am getting one. So the saving started. I previously had an 03 Acura CL. Basically a 2 door 2G TL. It was pretty nice. Almost all the toys except nav. When I finally got the TL I was shocked at the lower mpg but that was because of my lead foot and short trips here and there. Nearly no highway miles for the first month. On the highway this thing does great. Also I have a TL-S with auto and the tranny is alot rougher shifting than I expected. I took it to the dealer and had them check it out and change the fluid. They said it was fine. All in all the car is great. Just make sure you get a clean title and all services have been kept up. Good luck.

Yes get it, I backed out at the last second and got a base model instead. I have been regretting it ever since. I mean, the standard TL is a good car don't get me wrong. However, if I could go back in time, I would have spent the extra 8 grand or so and got the S. Although people have been charging a premium for the third gen S in my area. Some of them have been running close to new prices.

I don't know if the stealership will take care of this for you. Rock chips on the front bumper will most likely fall under normal wear and tear. Everyone, including myself, experiences this.
