Does anyone know where to get a reasonable price on a 07-08 TL Type-S rear bumper or know anyone selling one? I want to covert my '05 to the type-s rear with the aspec... I am also interested in a rear aspec lip for the base too.. Thanks

you can fit the type-s lip kit OVER your existing bumper.

^ True. Keep in mind that if you have a non-Type-S paint code, you'll have to get the new bumper and lip repainted. I would've done that long ago if it didn't cost $450 to get an AM lip.

 

Yeah I found that out looking around lol but how expensive would it be for a body shop to install the type-s lip, because I am not good at body work.. Thanks for the advice though

 

^they're going to charge you an arm and a leg!!

if you can measure, and cut and bolt up, then you can instal the lip!

 

That's what I figured.... And If I get a Type-S lip shipped and its painted, I will have to get in repainted to match?

 

just buy a type-s rear lip and install it on your OEM base bumper. they come painted. just order your paint code.

it's a very simple install.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but you can't order a Type-S lip in AM, right? It has to be a color carried over from 04-06 to UA7?
