Looking to buy Type-S
Looking to buy Type-S
Been looking for about 4 months now and cant seem to find the one i want. It must be KPB in color and Manual transmission and would like to keep the miles between 50-60k. i have looked on autotrader.com, cars.com and craigslist and found very few that are close to me, i live in NC and would not mind traveling a few hundred miles for the right car. anyone have any other suggestions of sights i might look? any extra help would be greatly suggested
You pretty much summed it up on which sites to look for, but if you want that exact car that must be KBP and 6spd manual, you are absolutely going to have to travel for than a few hundred miles. I have purchased many cars out of state, and just to give you an idea, buying a one way plane ticket and driving the car home actually works great. I have flown out and driven the new vehicle home in one day as far as 780 miles away. Flight left at 8am, I got home into my garage that same night at 11:30pm. Its kinda fun too :-)
My last trip to find the exact car I wanted I had to travel down to Atlanta from Chicago. I also made that complete trip in one day as well.

The one on cars.com has been on for a few months and i dont mind driving 7-8hrs for the right car, the plane flight is not a bad idea either. If anyone sees one out there post up a link here please, and again thanks for the info.
I dont plan on giving up on a car that I have wanted for about 4 years now.Only every seeing one in my area in that time makes me want it even more.

please steer and clear of EMG auto sale, I heard alot of horror story about that dealer such as the car never for sale they just post pics up for sale attraction. I there is an actual car in the inventory they will trying to hit you with all kind of fee after seeing their "fair market price" and this is a typical shit that a used car place in NJ would do.

Glad I avoided them. When I was looking for mine, they had several NBPs that I was really interested in. I actually had an appointment for one, but lo and behold, I test drove a privately-sold WDP Type-S a few hours before.
The rest was history.
http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...gIndex=2&Log=0. Even though everyone knows NHBP is the best color
^^
The TL-S in that link looks good. At first I liked the wheels like that, but the longer I looked at them, the more they looked like the 2nd gen Dodge Neon wheels lol. Looks like they are asking a good price for it too.

Getting it cheaper would have been nice, but if it was in the shape that the photos showed, it would have been worth it to pay what he was asking. Oh well. At least that ad proves that the right is out there somewhere
