Looking to buy a 04-05 TL.

Hey guys i am looking to buy a 2004-2005 TL. I want either White or Black color. It has to be Manual with Navigation. I was just wondering how much should i be spending on the car and if any of you are planing on selling yours. I can afford 25000 and under because i am giving 5k down payment so i am able to finance the rest.

I live in Atlanta Georgia but am willing to travel up to 800-900 miles to pick up the car .

i was thinking of buying something like this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...8314852&rd=1,1

I have never bought a car on ebey though and i dunno how safe it is. On top of that ... that car has 44 000 miles which is way too much for a 2 year old car. Just wondering if that is a good deal or not and if someone has a good price plz let me know. Thanks. I am looking to buy at end of January Early Fab

I've heard some bad things happen with ebay. I wouldnt buy a car from there unless it is a local seller and you can go see and inspect the car before purchasing or even bidding on it. Regardless of gurantees or insurance(s) offered for out of state shipping etc, its not a good idea to buy a car sight unseen.

You say you have $5k to put down, were you going to finance an additional 25k above that or is that counted in your 25k estimated budget? If you have a total of 25k you plan to spend, you should be able to easily get in that price range. Just remember though, the better "factory" warranty came out in '06. I realize you can buy an extended warranty to push it out to 100k miles, but anything but a bonified Acura warranty is most likely garbage. If you have a 30k budget, i'd feel pretty confident you can get into a new '06 for 30k or less. Dealers dont like last years model sitting on the lot, if you go in as a smart buyer you can practically steal one.
