Most people who get the IS250 are chicks and a younger demographic (<25yrs old). Everyone knows that car is not fast. It is a nice enough car but it is not a race car. That's like someone in a TSX being shocked that they got owned by by a G or a 3 series.

The S4 is not in the same league as the IS-F. Even the RS4 (which sold in the same segment as the IS-F) isn't as fast as the Lexus.

My girlfriend got her 250 last May. It is fully loaded (sport package) with nav and all wheel drive. I prefer to drive my TL most of the time (unless I don't want to use my gas 
). Here are my pros and cons:
Pros
fit and finish
absolutely no rattles
better paint
Nav looks like HD compared to mine
All wheel drive
Fob and push button start
Cons
Slowwww - no punch
Nav can't be accessed while car is in motion (Safe yes, annoying HELL yes) and it's difficult to use
Small cabin space
No XM radio
Just plain boring to drive - not much life to it
I was going to surprise her with XM for Christmas, but XM couldn't locate her radio. Come to find out that it is only "pre-wired" for satellite radio. I called Lexus to see what it would cost for the receiver and they said "$695 plus installation." No thanks! I told him that it was standard in the TL. He said it only comes standard in the LS460 and GX470. Go figure!

LOL ... good find bud .... but sometimes I find it hard to compare apple to apple as some of the performance mods. aren't really noticeable from the outside, so don't be surprised that a stock TL might get owned by some IS2/3 ....

Back on topic lolz at the thread. IS250's do not surprise me as I have run them in my old accord. IS350's I havent run into often they seem kinda rare.

Is the Is250 engine the 3.0L 2JZ I-6 engine from the supra? If so.. plenty of mods for that engine to make it wicked powerful/fast..... just don't know what the AWD setup could handle...

shits hot man.. i was in jersey the other day at a light one pulled up next to me but i didnt know it was the F and i have my music loud windows closed and this guys starts to rev the motor.. even with my music on loud i heard that shit i was like omg lol he took off so fast bro it wasnt funny

There is a guy in my neighborhood that has a buddy with an IS-F. Looks nice in person but the only way I could tell it was an "F" was when I saw the quad exhaust. Next time he stops by, I will be sure to listen close to see how it sounds. Same color blue as your pic. I wonder if that is that the only color it comes in.

I was watching a podcast on the way to work this morning and they said that Lexus is planning an IS-F R or Evolution (they are not sure of the name yet) that will have upgraded brakes, suspension and weight savings of about 300 pounds all with the same V8 as the current IS-F. I wonder how much more that will cost. Crazy $$$ I bet.
