Who has LoJack with the Early Warning Alert Service and keeps getting false alarms?

 

What kind of false alarm?

My friend got Early Warning, too. He seemed to have a little problem in the beginning, but LoJack has fixed... and so far so good.

 

false alarm= receive calls from lojack that the car has been moved without authorization. When in fact it has not been moved.

 

Well, my friend's story was contrary to yours in the beginning. He wasn't able to get any calls or notifications from LoJack. After service manager checked out, the LoJack originally installed in his car couldn't send out the signal properly, so the technician came to relocate his device. This still couldn't work.

A few days later, the guy totally replaced the Early Warning device witht the new one, then finally it's working.

My friend still tests it once per month. If he doesn't carry that fob, he will get his first notification in 2-5 minutes. It's pretty amazing. In last month's test, we started the test near Columbia U., and we obtained the first message to his cell in less than 100 seconds and we just drove 7 blocks with two stops of traffic lights.

You may call your hotline to ask their technician checking it out. Usually the unexperienced dealers ('cause 04TL is the new car) could settle your device in the wrong location. The technician told my friend he would file the report to train their dealers how to properly install the LoJack in 04TL.
