Little creation that I came up with

I think the only way that this would look nice, and be able to work with the TL, is if it was the right font (not sure what font though) and if it was stiched in. Just my two cents.
I can do this.. With or without the A..how about that?

Check out this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...light=headrest
Something like these would be great, or just with an "A" for the non-type S guys!

I used wheel center cap vinyl stickers from grafixpressions.com. I figured it might stay there for a little while before peeling off on its own but they have lasted quite a while now.
Those stitched headrests are custom made---I believe the guy had a friend who was able to make them for him on a one-off basis. I would not mind stitched headrests, but have settled for the solution I have.

Mine have lasted about a year. I did have to replace one which started to pull up.
The secret is to clean the area well and hitting it with some alcohol before applying.
BTW, when the one that I mentioned came up and I took it off, there was a faint outline on the headrest. A good cleaning took it all off.

That particular "TL" has been on my car for almost four years now. Other have came off because the animals that have sat there like to touch. It will stay in place without any modification or "marks" when removed for 1-2 years no problem. Hey, for $7 shipped 2 years is a great investment.
Guys... I have done this for many car enthusiasts, most headrest covers can be removed with the proper tools.....
IN MY OPINION,
matching the headrest leather color with the thread would make it look extremely classy, No need to go some other color, the raised pattern of the stitch would be just enough for it to look subtle & almost stock.

IMO I think UNC96XJs concept for "TL" looks really good. But i think ACKTLs would look good if the A symbol and acura were all one piece when you apply so you dont have worry about getting the letters all properly aligned
It all sicks on one piece, but I took the off the "ACURA" individually to save myself the stick paper and such.

The Type-S headrest looks the best IMO
