Is it me or is the white housing for these two bulbs very very hard to get out?? I got some PIAA extreme whites to replace the yellowish stock bulbs, took the electric socket out, but can get the white housing to dislodge, I know about the two clips on the two sides, but it just won't come out no matter how much I push them in, is there a secret way here???

what i do is get one of those thin flathead drivers and apply a force on one of the clips (hold the driver against your palm and push with your index finger) while wiggling the housing out. Worked every time for me.
Or you can go cathode tubes so you eliminate that process all together

remove the inner trunk linning...much easier.
