I running them also and it's been about a year now. Super bright and fit snug into the sockets.

Thanks

I've had mine on the car since March 8th and I haven't had a problem yet. So easy to put them in, my girlfriend even put one of them in

^^^did you go with the 5 or 9 SMD LED bulbs? I've got a pair of the 9 smd led's in my tahoe and they've been good for the past year.

Looks good but they look a little too bright. Your entire bumper is being lit up. If I do a license plate mod I think it will be with a white cold cathode tube like they do on Lexus.
Overall looks great though!

I'm running the SAME LED's the OP referred too for 2years now. One went bad 1year in, and the other bulb = good as new!

I suggest buying a few backups just in case

In White flavor.

Actually I'm pretty sure mine were 6 LED's. Not positive though. Have any pics of the ones on your Tahoe?

I can't imagine that the single SMD LED provides enough light. At a minimum I'd think you would need the 5 LED version.

if you don't want it TOO bright, I wouldnt' recommend the cathode lexus thing...I saw pics of a TL's DIY for that mod and not only was the bumper lit up...so was the floor, about 4 feet away from the car!
