License PLate LED Lights

do you have to take off the lining inside the trunk to get at these or can you do it from outside the car?

Pretty sure you need to take off the lining. It's simple to do and you don't need to take it completely off although I would.

Do yourself a favor and do it from inside the trunk. Remove the lining and go at it. I did the left side from outside the car and it was a huge pita. Right side took less than 15 minutes when I did it from inside the trunk.

Search the 3g garage and their should be something in there to help you.

Yes you have to remove part of the lining. i did this yesterday. remove the 3 left, and 2 right locking clips and the screw for that little handle to the right of the truck lock.

^^ He's already on the list. You need to take the liner out and I have done it before. Very simple and if you need help, get the lights and swing over my house. Can be done in less than 30 minutes.

For that very reason is why I left them alone. My girlfriend is the only one who uses them and she doesn't mind. Those and the lights in the armrest and glove box are stock incandescents. The rest are LEDs.

what is the ideal viewing angle for these bulbs 120*? i was looking at the V-LEDS HID WHITE 6 LED M-SMT FLANK BULBS 194, they have a viewing angle of 120* and a current draw of 90mA. i think these will suffice....?

Changing out those leds gets easier and easier. I'm sure I'll be doing some more once these v-leds fail again.
