License plate cover for my NBP TL
I'm looking for some (reasonable priced) license plate covers for my TL. I have to get rid of the dealer one, it's so ugly and I don't want to advertise for them.
I've seen a site posted on here, but it was in a thread not titled along the lines of "license plate covers," I dunno maybe you have a diff. name for them in the AZINE world.
Maybe post some pics of what you use too, just to give me an idea. I was thinking the "TL" black plate, not chrome or silver or anything special just plain black.
Thanks!

I don't believe in the license plate frames. I don't think they're necessary unless you want to show off an affiliation with something like the group or sports team. I just have a lightly tinted plastic over for the entire plate. I think it goes nicely with AM.

I have and recommend the weathertech plate frames. They come with nice stainless hardware and don't fade like the cheap plastic ones you find at autozone or pepboys.

2) The plain chrome frame w/plate cover went best with the brushed aluminum trunk trim on my silver TL-- the trunk already has "Acura" and "TL" on it unless the car is debadged, so no need for either on the plate frame.
However, a plain matte black frame w/plate cover worked best on our silver Odyssey minivan.
We now use clear plate covers-- the minivan was ticketed per California Vehicle Code for a smoked/tinted plate cover while parked on the street next to the house.
