If anyone's interested, I have a pair of cheap TL-S tails available as of this AM. One has a tiny chip in the corner, and one has a few specks inside the lens. I have pictures. $100 shipped in the continental US on the pair.

damn.... received my taillight, and found out that my right side tailight, the outer clear lense corner is chipped.... im so pissed off, because I didnt find out until I took off my bumper, installed my left side first, then when I go on to right side, and found the chip.

Not to be rude or anything, but I installed mine as well but for inexperience installers there is a possibility it could have been chipped due to the fact you accidently pull the bumper out while trying to realign the sucker. Only reason why I know this is because it happened to me. It chipped cuz I wasn't careful installing the right side when putting the bumper back on again (I put it on but it didn't seem aligned so I pulled it out and try to realign the bumper and CHIP there goes a tiny little piece on the bottom left side of the lights on the right side). Honestly yours could have been chipped as Tim had another chipped, but i'm pretty sure (guessing here) he checks his merchandise before shipping. Just my

Another note not to sure how you didn't notice when you had to take out the old and take out the led clusters and wires to put it in the new one before installing it on the bumper?????

there are four studs to guide the tail light back in, and the rear bumper just snaps right back to place!
Yeh it snaps in but when putting on the bumper the corners barely slide pass the lens that hangs out a bit on the bottom left have a look and you will see. And yes you didn't make yourself clear.

it is very easy to chip the bottom corners of the tail lights. when i was putting my aspec kit on and put the rear bumper back on it didn't align right for some reason so i had to try it about a billion times before i clipped the entire rear back in. i noticed that while i was fidgeting with the thing it chipped the inside corner of my right tail light.

Hey this might sound stupid but I just bought a TL-S and would love to have some all season weathermats. Anyone want to do a group buy on these? I emailed Tim and he said he would do it if we could get enough people to start the group buy.

alright, i talked to tim earlier today where he will have TL-S tail lights next tuesday as the same price listed on his website because thats all I need.
He can not do group buy on TL-S lights alone. He did said that about group buy on TL-S lights and sidemarkers. So lets have some head counts.

I think we should be a little more realistic guys. Tim has said over and over he is always in short supply of the Type S tails. I don't think a group buy on this item will be available for a while, if ever. Even if it is combined with the markers.

I think the ones who are unrealistic are the ones who think Tim will group buy the tails or side markers separately. He has already said NO to this several times.
